Kiki Burgh Posted January 7, 2007 Posted January 7, 2007 hi! i was wondering if it could be possible to view topics 1 has replied to/started from the main forum page so as to determine which those would be if from different threads ... something like the attached to be an option from: http://www.msfn.org/board/index.php ... there would be instances where one could have forgotten due to posts in different threads? thanks!

Kiki Burgh Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 ey Tux! thanks for this but this ain't what i was pointing at ... the sample you provided may be done within the specific thread (i.e., HFSLIP alone) ... i'd like to know if it would be possible to have some drop-down like the pic i attached but this time from the main forum page so as to see all my posts in different threads (i.e., from HFSLIP, from Site & Forum Issues, from Hardware Hangout, from XPize, ... etc) ... this would be essential i guess if i forgot that i have posted an inquiry in some other thread that i do not frequent
tain Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 You can do that with our Search utility, as Tux tried to point out. Go here. Input your name in the "Filter by Member Name (optional)" box. Then select whatever options you want. You can search the entire forum or limit to certain ones. You can also return the results as topics or posts.
Kiki Burgh Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 (edited) gotcha! thanks much Tain & Tux! Edited January 8, 2007 by Kiki Burgh
Kiki Burgh Posted January 8, 2007 Author Posted January 8, 2007 incidentally, i found another way of doing by Find Member's Posts as may be seen from the attached pic
tain Posted January 8, 2007 Posted January 8, 2007 You can find that when looking at a user's profile as well. We've had that feature since before the upgrade. I didn't realize that was all you needed
