doubt it will help him. SoF was designed for Firefox 1.X. The current installers have a different internal file structure. Some of the internal config files changed or simply aren't there. (for example the config.ini in the installer root, where you have been able to integrate additional XPIs)

If there is not any other tool, my take on this would be to install firefox silently (with the known switches) and in a second command install the CCK.xpi.

(at the moment) The only thing to repackage a Firefox Installer with an XPI seems to be this

Hello, well what i was told to try by one of my colleuges. was the following, bear with me on this one :)

Install Firefox on my local machine, along with any extensions i might want to use.

Then, locate the folder of the file: C:\Programs Files\Mozila Firefox,

and Create a SFX Archive, and in the properties if the archive, i can add a command to add a Shortcut to the files, where to extract the files setcect the Location to put it, and ive put a registry file on it, to tell windows that it is the Default Browser, and then add the to another command in the SFX.

Hope you can help, becuase in logic this sounds ok, but i would like to know what you like!

The simplest solution:

Run firefox2.exe with /S option. It makes it silently. Then make an SFX archive: C:\Document and settings\username\application data\Mozilla" folder. It contains your extensions and settings of Firefox.

My SFX script:

Path=%APPDATA%

SavePath

Silent=1

Overwrite=1

Thats all.
