Making bootable DVD fails for nLite after 1.0.1

Hi,

I wonder if anybody can give a word of advice.

Starting from nLite 1.2 (and I tried 1.3 beta), bootable DVD image that is produced by it would not install on VMWare.

Basically it says "Press any key to boot from CD....", when I do it briefly says something like "NTDETECT failed" and then reboots.

If I use nLite 1.0.3 to produce bootable image - everything is ok.

Any suggestions?

BTW, it turned out that if I start from scratch (that is take clean XP SP2 image) - it works ok with new nLite version (1.3 beta).

So I don't know what exactly got messed up in installation I was maintaining for last 2 years. Also it is strange that it still worked with

nlite 1.0.1.

it could be any error happened during .iso build, does it always happen the same way!?

or it was just one or twice?

alexgit, seems like preset ISO engine in nLite has issues with some machines so I'll be adding the optional old mkisofs engine for you to choose from in the next version. You can put it in the nlite root yourself...just read the help popup next to the ISO Engine in the Make ISO page.
