Set Screen Resolution in a Virtual Machine

Featured Replies

I thinking somebody know this how make resolution 1024/768 in Virtual Machine.

THX for answere

do you mean, that when testing in vmware the resultion should be 1024/768 and otherwise the res specified in the winnt.sif ?

if this is possibly i would like to know it, too ;)

I think you'll need to install VM Addons (which contains VGA drivers) or something before you can set to that resolution or higher.

i use the 3rd driver pack for vmware with bashrats driverpack ...

so the driver for vga is actually installed before and i can set this res, but in my case its 1280/1024 and thats a bit to high for a window installation in vmware :D

you can find it here, its called "DriverPack Virtual (aka VMware): 6.11.27"
