How I do a System Restore?

thanks,

t3n4k

Go to Start --> Help and Support

A window will option presenting you with many different options.

Under the "Pick a Task" subheading, there's an option that says "Undo changes to your computer with System Restore", click it.

From there, just follow the prompts! :)

He doesn't mention what OS he's using, and System Restore is non-existant in NT4/2000/2003

Well, if i use system restore, i need a restore point that i haven't because when it crashes i haven't system restore activated ...

Then i decide to reinstall but, when i change (as said in the guide) the settings of the memory management to take priority to apps before background proceses, i have the problem again. Then i change to default settings, but the problem remains ...

Someone knows about it? how to repair without reinstall if possible ....

thanks
