Michi
When I make my own add-on and i make it a silent install and the install asks to reboot at the end what does it do?
bj-kaiser
probably you have to add a switch to the installer commandline to supress the reboot messagebox and the reboot.what sort of installer or what application is it?

bj-kaiser
http://www.uawiki.org/doku.php?id=silent_a...witchesdb:nod32There is something for NOD32. Still searching for Kaspersky.edit: Kaspersky uses InstallShield. This should help you there:http://uawiki.org/doku.php?id=silent_apps:...s:installshieldan alternative way would be to extract the MSI from the exe and use the well-known MSI-commands. Your choice. Speeddymon
they both dont work the silent thing with kaspersky doesnt work, /passive does but the /norestart doesn't work so it will still restart but i dunno if that will happen during the install of windows.and for nod it just doesn't work for Kaspersky (Installshield), extract file to a temp folder, go to temp folder and delete setup.issthen run setup.exe with -rChoose your options, and make sure you pick do not restart at the end. Then go to windows dir and move setup.iss from there to the temp folder you installed from.. Then when you run setup.exe run it with -s and it will install silent and not restart../norestart was actually for nod32, not kaspersky, so try /norestart on nod32 and see if it works. SRJ
NOD32 will require you to use an AutoIT script (or similar)... far too many options that need setting.
Kelsenellenelvian
All you need for Nod32 is /SILENTMODE (This is for the standard installation) Edited January 7, 2007 by Kelsenellenelvian
DryKillLogic
Speedydymon: I tried to do what you said but when I extract the setup package the .iss file doesnt exist. I used winrar and universal extractor. The package is the installshield version. Thanks in advanced.
