MrDisaster Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 On the Win2K, Win2K server, XP, and 2003 server there are two methods to repair an install. The first is before the license agreement and takes you to the command prompt. The second comes after the license agreement. This repair option will repair the OS and not destroy programs and user settings.I used NLite 1.3 to make an 2003 install/repair disk. The first repair was available but it skipped over the second and went straight to the install.Did I miss something when I made the CD?MrDisaster
Speeddymon Posted December 21, 2006 Posted December 21, 2006 Are you saying it didn't tell you to press F2 to enter Automated System Recovery, but it did say press whatever to go into the Administrative Console? Or vice versa?
