Removing Outlook Express, Automatic Updates service fails

Featured Replies

I use nlite to remove numerous components

But noticed Automatic Updates service wont start until a restart after the first boot.

I decided to narrow down what component was causing this and found it to be Outlook Express.

Is there a shared file possibly that is removed when outlook express is removed that Automatic Updates could use?

Appreciate some help on this, as I don't want to keep Outlook Express in my installation, and I don't want to have to restart my machine after first boot to get things to work.

BTW, the automatic updates service does actually work, but only if u restart.

Keeping outlook express makes it on first boot.
