xl71
I heard this problem many times. My friend recently had the same.A few days ago there was a patch out on MSFN that would repair that issue if I'm correct. What u also can do is re-install IE6, by de-installing it first.Download XPLite, this program is able to de-install protected software in ur XP-installation such as MSN and IE. (http://www.litepc.com/)Download inmediately via http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?...3076e621273c9d1Then re-install IE 6, you can get it at microsoft.com

RiffHow do I repair Internet Explorer in Windows® XP?Revised - 03/03/2002The ability to Repair Internet Explorer does not exist in the version that ships with Windows XP. This feature only becomes available after you upgrade to a newer version. This is normal and has been this way since Windows 98 and IE4.However, you can reinstall IE in Windows XP by clicking Start, Run and entering the following command:rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection DefaultInstall 132 %windir%\Inf\ie.infYou will need to have your XP CD available. Some people have problems with the command line above. A small VB Script that will execute the command for you can be downloaded http://www.dougknox.com/scripts/xp_run_ie_setup.vbshere. Save the file to your hard drive and double click it to run IE Setup. How to Reinstall or Repair Internet Explorer and Outlook Express in Windows XP (Q318378)http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?...b;EN-US;q318378This page last updated 05/03/2003 19:41All material © Doug Knoxhttp://www.dougknox.com/
