Smivy Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 DVD-Cloner 1.99http://lsgroup.2ya.com/software/swpg/dvdcloner.htmlDVD-Cloner is a super easy tool to copy DVDs to DVD-R/RW. What you will get are real DVD movies. The DVD-R/RW copied is the same as the original DVD movie, in true DVD format and adopts MPEG2 format. You can clone your DVD entirely within 3 hours, in the same quality as the original. The cloned DVD can be played in any compatible DVD Player.
MSNwar Posted September 21, 2003 Posted September 21, 2003 - begin comment. This from the publisher's web site site about the menu:DVD-CLONER can copy the MENU of the DVD movie with perfect quality and it supports most DVD BURNER brands that you might find on market. The trial version will only copy 1/5 of the DVD. The full version has no restrictions.- end comment.I use DVDXCopyXpress 2.1 and it does 9 out of ten DVDs without fail. The platinum edition is supposed to do menus, but my friends who use it often turn-out broken backups. Somewhere along the line the DVD freezes most of the time.To get around the menu problem I use SmartRipper, DVD Shrink, and Nero 6. No menus, but a working backup of the movie everytime. It would be nice to test DVD-Cloner, but not possible with a trail version. The full/registered is $59.99. Yikes!Has anyone used this yet? Sounds promising. Thanks Smivy
