foleymik Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Hi,First, let me thank those that have worked so hard on nlite and all the addons. Thank you!I'm using an XP Pro with SP2 from my MSDN subscription as a base. I use nlite (tried 1.01 and 1.2.x)to add on Ryan's update pack and a few addons like Firefox and Notepad++.The CD boots and I get to the point where you format the partition. The install starts thethe format and dies with a "cannot format, you might not have enough memory" error. There's plenty of memory. It's a bug someplace. Has anyone seen this and figured out what'sgoing on?Many thanks, mike
Kiki Burgh Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 hi foleymik! have you tested your builds in VM? it may also help if you post your Last_Session.ini so others who read this see it.
MGadAllah Posted December 16, 2006 Posted December 16, 2006 Did you faced that error before when using the original CD from MSDN?I'm thinking about a thing but I do not know if it could be the reason or not... There is an option that enable or disable the partetion from context right click menu....I do not know if it right or wrong, but give it a try if you did choosed this option
foleymik Posted December 17, 2006 Author Posted December 17, 2006 I think I figured it out.The first time around, I was using an MSDN DVD that included the directories of a bunch of distributions. (Win2k3, XP home/pro/prosp2, etc..)When I switched to an ISO image that I mounted from another MSDN disk, then things started up as they should and I was able to build unattended CD's that did their job. Thanks to all, mike
