December 10, 200619 yr HiI have several issues with my PC but this is the one currently infuriating me. Just got my PC back from the repair shop who had spent two weeks trying to get my PC to restore from Standby and failed (it just freezes with power to the board, fans running et al but nothing else, seems to be common with dual 939 4800's). Last night I tried to put the PC into Hibernate, does everything fine but the second the power turns off it boots up again and restores itself. But I am sure that before I had no issues at all with Hibernate. Any assistance greatly welcome.Dave
December 11, 200619 yr Does your BIOS support a "wake on keyboard" feature? That's really the only thing I can think of - that your keyboard/mouse is causing it to wake up. Otherwise, a Wake-on-lan function might be the culprit.

December 11, 200619 yr Some programs such as PerfectDisk 8 offer a way to wake the computer to defrag.
