How do I remove Control Panel from the Tree View

How can I remove Control Panel from the Tree View under My Computer

I don't want to see it under the drives

In My Computer, click Tools->Folder Options...->View->Scroll down to where you see a check box with the "Show Control Panel in My Computer" selection. Uncheck it.

CptMurphy I had that removed I don't see Control Panel in the My Computer Folder, but in the Folders bar in Windows Explorer I can see it. Under Desktop\My Computer, and Start Menu\My Computer, becouse I use that expanded.

I'm 98% positive you can't take that off unless you edit your registry.
