johnlb Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 I have 49 items in my Task Manager but I am unsure which can be safely removed. How do I remove such items and which should I keep?
Maleko Posted December 4, 2006 Posted December 4, 2006 Im sure someone can tell you what u need to keep. What you can do is post a screenshot of all the tasks listed. To disable/enable the programs that start do this:Click Start > Runthen type:msconfigThen a new window will open, click on the Startup Tab, and there will be a list of all the programs with tick boxes that start when you log in.You can get hold of third part software that can be more user firendly, like StartEd from OuterTechnologieslink:http://www.outertech.com/?_charisma_page=i...2614e145de83b7e

MagicAndre1981 Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 just hit the print-button on your keyboard and paste the picture in paint
nitroshift Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 just hit the print-button on your keyboard and paste the picture in paint ... and save it in .jpeg to make it smaller in size (kB).
johnlb Posted December 5, 2006 Author Posted December 5, 2006 I may sound daft - but which is the print button?
Jaqie Fox Posted December 5, 2006 Posted December 5, 2006 usually labeled PrintScrn or PrtScreen or such, just to the right of F12.
LLXX Posted December 6, 2006 Posted December 6, 2006 just hit the print-button on your keyboard and paste the picture in paint ... and save it in .jpeg to make it smaller in size (kB).PNG!!!!JPG is good for pictures but for text and sharp lines it creates annoying artifacts.
