perfection
I think that the desktop icons in tile mode look quite chic. I would like to know whether there is a reg tweak/hack that i can learn - right now i use a program called Dcolor which sits in the system tray from startup (and eats 6 MB RAM).More importantly i would love to know what reg entry to create/modify to get rid of the additional info that accompanies the tiles apart from the file name such as kind of file, file size or the description in case of an exe file - this info is usually greyed out and is diffeent for diffferent types of files. any way to supress / hide this additional data??I know winfx does so but i don't want to buy a program only for this beautification tweakAny help on these issues?? perfection
No way to do this at all?I did find a way to edit the regsitry entry of lnkfile and add a string tileinfo and leave it blank and then display the desktop icons in tile mode arranged by name. But exe's and zips still have the extra infomation of tile mode which i need to get rid of (just for cosmetic purposes) Edited December 23, 2006 by perfection
