Excel problem

I am using Excel 2003 to record irrigation water usage (see attached file). I want to be able to calculate the total and average water usage for each section that is being irrigated. Does anyone know how to do this?

Use Data-->Subtotals as per my article:

Click the 2 at the upper left of the spreadsheet to see total and average detail.

Click the 3 to see total and average ALL.
