yogi_bear_79 Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 Ok, I integrated my hotfixes. Now I have a folder full of hotfixes, and Cabs. I assume I can delete the .exe's? Also, I integrated the hotfixes from E:\XPCD\I386\SVCPACK Do I leave the cabs there?
Camarade_Tux Posted November 27, 2006 Posted November 27, 2006 As far as I've understood, you've put the hotfixes you downloaded in a subfolder of your source folder. Don't do that, use another folder.
yogi_bear_79 Posted November 27, 2006 Author Posted November 27, 2006 That is corrrect. OK I will move them. However, I already slipstreamed the hotfixes into the source files from that location is that a problem? I assume the install features need those cab files? I assume the .exe's are no longer needed? Or did nLite move the cabs it needed elsewhere?
zedox Posted November 28, 2006 Posted November 28, 2006 NLITE will remove everything to do with the hotfixes it doesnt need. However as you placed the actual files within your disc folder I don't believe it would have worked correctly. It would be best to move them from the disc and REDO the disc with nlite.
