Quisquose Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 Does anybody know where is the realtek hd taskbar icons located? wanna mod it but fail to find it... @@"Yeah, me too. Those icons are totally minging.Fortunately they provided a way to turn off the tray icon (I hate it when stupid developers use the 'Notifcation Area' as a 'Quick Launch' area) so for me that just leaves the control panel applet (which I assume would have the icon located in the .cpl file) but I've yet to look.

danrulz12 Posted May 30, 2007 Posted May 30, 2007 Has anyone had any luck finding the hiding place of this bloody ugly icon? The only trace i've found of it is inside soundman.exe, and i've changed both to no avail . Any help would be really appreciated
rogerebert Posted July 17, 2007 Posted July 17, 2007 While you are at it take a look to see what this useless memory hog is good for. Nothing. You can disable this program that must start up with 3 programs so you can hear the effect of a "shower stall" actual option. Save the memory.
