Error on PC

I am getting an error every time i turn on my laptop. I don't know where its coming from and i don't know how to fix it. Can any1 help me?? I have windows xp this laptop is only 6 mos old. the error reads like this:

SmartBridge Alerts MotiveSB.exe Entry Point not found

The procedure entry point GetProcessImageFileNameW could not be located in the dynamic link library PSAPI.DLL.

any help on this problem would be wonderful.

i think it has a virus

do you have any anti-virus software on your computer?, if you do what is it called?

has the computer ever been on the internet?

does it have firewall software?

It's not a virus - it's the fact that IE7 updates psapi.dll, and software can break because of it:
