Hello,

I am running the WPI from a network path located on my server.

During the installation of some of my drivers or software ,for example VPC2004, the Network connection get´s lost.

As a result i´m getting an Internet Explorer Scripting Error from the Windows Post-Install Wizard and the whole programm crashes. I have to shut down the WPI from the Task Manager.

This occurs directly during the Installation of the SW, so there is no good in sending the WPI to sleep with the sleep.exe or anything like that.

 My question is, does anybody know some kind of workaround for my problem?

I think it has something to do with the Java Script, but cause I´m no good in programming at all I´m really in need of a helping hand.

Thanx a lot

I think I found a workaround. I´m just letting the RIS copy the whole WPI-Folder to the local harddrive (without any content), so the WPI can run on the local machine. So it won´t bother cause of any network connectivity. But if any of you has another clue i would be happy to test it.
