How to make a Ghost Image to work on multiple PC ?

Hi guys

Ive never done a disc image before and was wondering as to how i go about making one that i can transfer onto a different pc.

I have acronis true image but i could get a copy of norton ghost as ive heard thats good too. Basically do i just install windows and set it all up how i want it and then just go into device manager uninstall all the devices and then reboot into true image and make the ghost image to redeploy ?
