tek35
Hey guys, I'm having an error come up in my "Local Area Connection Properties" box under the Advanced tab that says: "Windows cannot display the properties of this connection. Your WMI information might be corrupted. To fix this, use system restore..."Well I just upgraded from Windows 2000 to WinXP using the upgrade cd so if i restore... do i go back to win2k? i'm doubting that but that still doesn't help me fixing my WMI.I also tried deleting files out of the repository folder after disabling the WMI control service.Anyone have a clue how to fix this? :/
vcant
if you just upgraded, you probably dont have any restore points set anyway and cannot use system restore.i remember that some time ago someone posted exactly the same problem, i coudnt find it cause the board does not allow to search for WMI (less that 5 characters), try browsing the forum and you will probably find it
