playsafe Posted November 8, 2006 Share Posted November 8, 2006 (edited) I am using VMWare workstation 5.0.0 with guest OS winXP. Over this virtual machine I have captured a video. 1. But i m unable to caprture any audio that is generated in the guest OS. 2. Niether I am able to perform sound recording. This sound recording is working in my HOST OS windows 2000. I have gone through the Sound settings in control panel of guest OS. but it does not seem to have detected any Input device i-e microphone.The thing i wanted to achieve is play a movie on guest OS and record it from there. As I saw the option of capturing movie in VMWare that is why i tried this option. Is there any other software used to capture video of system and Audio as well.
