ElAguila Posted November 3, 2006 Posted November 3, 2006 Does anyone know what the values mean for superfetch in the registry? I know that the enableprefetch has settings of 1, 2, or 3 meaning off, boot files only, boot and application. Is it the same for superfetch?
Albuquerque Posted November 7, 2006 Posted November 7, 2006 (edited) D'oh -- seems I have my terminology mixed up. Disregard Edited November 7, 2006 by Albuquerque
ElAguila Posted November 7, 2006 Author Posted November 7, 2006 I have googled it and so far I haven't found any information about the actual registry settings. All I can find is general information about it which basically tells me it is very similar to the enableprefetch command in xp but I would like to know that the settings mean. The value for it right now is 1. I would like to know if that can be changed like it could with the enableprefetch setting.
