Change to the Vista EULA - Good

Spooky

Recommended Posts

This is good news. M$ did the right thing.

The prior restrictive Vista license hurt the enthusiasts community who are always upgrading chips, motherboards and graphics cards and that's the wrong community to alienate.

If DX10 is great and the gamers love it, that's what will drive sales of Vista.

"copy the DVD to the HDD"; Where does it say that at, I didn't see it. In fact the license says that you can make a back up copy and doesn't specify how that copy is done, so a copy to the hard drive would be a back-up.

if the rest of the EULA has not been changed, it is still not allowed to copy the DVD to the HDD, and connect to the OS via remote dektop (the ultimate edition being the exception in both cases).
