nemesis01 Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Hey,Been doing my own Unattended CD, installed it a couple of hours ago and when it came to installing all the stuff I had put in it I got an error:Windows cannot find 'C:\Install\Applications\Nero\nero60015.exe'.It then proceeded to give that error for every app and hotfix I had put on the disk, why?
Aaron Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 As it says on the winnt.sif page on the Unattended XP CD Guide, you must add a OemPreinstall=Yes to the [unattended] section
nemesis01 Posted September 10, 2003 Author Posted September 10, 2003 Yeh, I did notice that when I was making the CD and could have sworn I did, just checked the file again and it was set to no. meh So setting that to yes will work for sure then?
Aaron Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 Yup, setting Yes will instruct setup that there are files/folders in the $OEM$ directory that needs to be copied over to the hard disk.
Drewdatrip Posted September 10, 2003 Posted September 10, 2003 also make sure that your batch files match the Actual directory the files are in. Otherwise you will get similar errors int he future.|Drew|
