THE HEADER CHECKSUM DOES NOT MATCH THE COMPUTED CHECKSUM. PLEASE HELP! I TRY TO REBOOT IN SAFE MODE BUT IT DOES NOT LET ME. cluberti Posted October 25, 2006 Share Posted October 25, 2006 (edited) This is repairable by either going to the recovery console and replacing the file from the service pack files cache, or doing a repair install from the installation media. If you choose the recovery console option, it would be wise to rename the existing crypt32.dll file and THEN copy in a new file from C:\WINDOWS\ServicePackFiles\i386\.
