IcemanND Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 did you install the drivers using the driverpacks? and did you select the option to keep the drivers?Check hklm\software\microsoft\windows\currentversionlook at devicepath, if you have drivers no where else it should only contain %systemroot%\infMay be taking so long searching the additional directories if used.
pawan Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I am facing this problem after Ryanvm update pack 2.1.4, when I tries to install drivers (WHQL with full path) its taking long, and during the period HDD LED glow constantly. I am on XP SP2 + Ryanvm Update Pack 2.1.4 + Boooggy WMP11 + nLited IE7 (nothing have been removed by nLite)Pawan
