gui_m Posted September 7, 2003 Share Posted September 7, 2003 Hello, has anyone managed to install their Unattended XP installations using WinISO and Virtual PC. Everytime I create the ISO file and mount it, it says gives me "Code 4" error saying that it can't boot from CD!!The settings i used for WinISO was the CD Label as WXPVOL_EN (don't think it matters) and i used the boot information from a file name boot.bin which I always use for burning in Nero and always works fine. The directories are identical as always keep them in normal XP CD's. Any ideas anyone?? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

But I have developed a work-around:Mount you ISO with Daemon-Tools and then grap the mounted CD drive with Virtual PC. That'll do!Just as a hint for the future.
