slappynutz
This may have already been answered, (and I used the wrong words to search for it) but how do you set the defualt background color for windows in the unattended install? Is a REG tweak you have to use or do you have to load it via NTUSER.dat.Thanks in advance
Ctrl-X
Through the "Background" value in "HKCU\Control Panel\Colors". It's a string value, consisting of three integers representing the red, green and blue levels, separated by spaces. The default XP value is "0 78 152". Set as desired, export to a .reg file and import from Cmdlines.txt. The value will then be entered into the HKU\.DEFAULT hive so it will be the default value for all newly created users. slappynutz
Thanks but it did not work. Does the "Remote Instalation" service have to be restated for this change to take place? I only thought if you made changes to the I386 folder.
