In other Windows operating systems you can add one-touch hot keys to the left side of the task bar near the Start button simply by dragging shortcuts down to the task bar. This isn't working for me in MCE. Any suggestions?


Are you referring to Quick Launch? Right-click the taskbar and go to properties and then enable quick launch. If that's not it...

Right click on the taskbar and take the mark off "Lock the taskbar" then resize the Quicklaunch toolbar (enlarge the space it uses) and drag the shortcut on the free space. Does it work now?
