  1. Anyone using file sharing program Kazaa Lite? I was using it on Win 2000. I installed it on MCE, but it fails to connect to the internet. It fails even when I disable the PC-cillin virus/firewall program.
  2. In other Windows operating systems you can add one-touch hot keys to the left side of the task bar near the Start button simply by dragging shortcuts down to the task bar. This isn't working for me in MCE. Any suggestions?
  3. I just got a Dell PC with MCE and an Ultrasharp monitor. The monitor has a VGA connector and a DVI connector- which one should I use? What's the difference?
  4. Any suggestions on what directory I'll find the Outlook Express files I need to import? So far I found a folder Outlook Express which has 14 files including MSIMN.exe, wab.exe, and some DLL files, but they all have old dates. Someone told me I need to find .PST files- is that correct?
  5. Just got a new PC with XP Media Center Edition. Does MCE come with a utility program for transferring data from my old PC to my new PC? I know older MS O/S's have this utility, but I'm not sure where to find it on MCE.
  6. I've been using Outlook Express for years, but now I'm getting a new PC with Office XP and Outlook. Is there a way I can save all my Outlook Express folders, messages, addresses, identities, etc. when I switch to the new PC? Can I import all my Outlook Express files into Outlook?
  7. I'm getting a new PC that comes with XP Media Center Edition 2005. I'm not so interested in all the media features, but I'm getting it because it's a package deal with the PC. Can I set up MCE to look like XP Pro and Win 2000, which is what I'm used to from my PCs at home and office? By "look like" I mean the desktop and other basic elements like the task bar, etc.? Is there anything I should know about differences in the user experience for MCE versus XP Pro? Also, I've heard anecdotes about users having problems running hardware on MCE but having no problems running the same hardware on XP Pro- is there anything I should be worried about in that area?
