LS_Dragons
Got an actual model number or something for the modem? Also - see if you can find a Windows 2000 driver - many of those work just fine in XP.LS
carnoustie66
Thanks for the reply.Tried the Windows 2000 driver which identified modem as Motorola SM56.Went over to Motorola website which redirected me to a company called Vanguard Services which do not have the drivers I need.Hope you can help further. LS_Dragons
was this modem 'included' with the system when you got it? If so - try the PC manufacturer's web site. If not, you may have to bite the bullet and go buy a new modem - a good time to do so if you end up having to do this. I have seen pretty good equip at Fry's for under $20 lately.LS
Aaron
get yourself an external modem if you plan to buy a modem, they're easier to install.
