help with encrypted files

i'm a user of xp pro and encrypted some of my files but after a while i forgot my logon password and used a third party software to delete it and since then i'm is not able to access my files is there any way to make them usable again?

the machine is stand alone

What did you delete with this third party software? Encrypted files?? If I understood you right, after you forgot the password for an account which had permissions to access encrypted files, you have deleted those files using some third party software?

no !! wrong !

i have deleted the password and now the certificate is missing for opening encryption so the files can't be accessed

if using xp encryption you may be hosed unless you had your keys backed up somewhere and/or you set and know the recovery password

the keys are not backed up and this is the problem
