Maybe someone can answer my question or try at least for gods sake.

Where dose Microsoft Word store it's saved spellcheck words? I have saved many (thousands) custom words in the word spellcheck and really need to be able to back them up. So i was wondering if theres a pacific folder or file location where there all kept.

Thanks to anyone who can replay and hopefully solve this problem im in.

Hi Robert,

My default custom dictionary is stored in:

C:\Documents and Settings\myname\Application Data\Microsoft\Proof\CUSTOM.DIC

Can't guarantee that yours will be in the same place, but it seems a good place to start.
