I wan't to add dvd playback (codecs) do media player 10, i tried to add the msfn codec pack .. but they didn't seem to work.

Ive tried 10 other programs/packs but all failed to playback dvd in media player. (i don't want to add a program as powerdvd)

Anyone a suggestion ?

I think so, but i think the real problem is that wmplayer crashes on playing a dvd in VMware / MSvirtual machine..

Maybe someone can confirm that by testing?

Okay, but i want to keep it as standard as possible, so only if there will be absolute no other choice then using alternative software..

If you just want a DVD player...then MP with SLD codecs, or any other supported codecs will do the job...I do not mean that you use the same as mine, as you like mate.

hehe was'nt attacking you But the problem is that the SLD installer crashes at the beginning at the ac3 file.. but but that is probably a different problem..

Install it on a clean install for XP, and you should not find any error

Use this CoDec pack, it definitely plays back DVD in Media Player.
