chon_ Posted September 12, 2006 Posted September 12, 2006 HmmmmmWhy not just install windows in C: then go to Control Panel\Administrative tools\Computer management\Disk management right click, choose change drive letter. Will that help??
astro4554 Posted September 12, 2006 Author Posted September 12, 2006 Chon_I have found a way... From disk management, you cannot change the boot drive letter.I have done this... (I was on VMware)1. Create a new machine with 3 Virtual disk2. started from third drive, create a partition... Became c:3. Choose second drive, create partition, became d:4. Choose third drive, created partition became e: and installed XP on this drive.Worked fine. I tested my bug and found the solutionThanks
jaclaz Posted September 13, 2006 Posted September 13, 2006 There is a way to change system drive letter, though not so straightforward:http://www.petri.co.il/change_system_drive..._windows_xp.htmhttp://www.dougknox.com/tips/xp_drive_letters.htmjaclaz
