CONROE AND P965 MOTHERBOARDS

m i the only one having issues with this chipset. i have not had a good working conroe machine yet. my first board was a GA-DQ6.. send was a P5B DELUXE. 3rd tried DQ6 again and no luck.. i was able to atleast install windows with the DQ6 but gaming was unstable. to make a long story shor. i swapped out the memory for new ones. video card. psu. and tried diff mb's. the only thing i have not tried was the processor, wut are the chances of getting a wacky processor? i sent out an rma for it. is ANYONE having any better luck then me? so far this is costing me a small fortune.

I dunno something is telling me to stay away from these 965 chipsets and go with 975x again with conroe

there are many others with the p5b and a conroe, it works fine for them.. its very unusual for a cpu to be bad but hey, it can happen. your specs look fine. what temps is the mobo reporting? also try underclocking both the ram and cpu.
