The_Captain Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Is there a way to get support for some of the patches and Hotfixes nLite can't integrate at the moment. Like .Net Framework SP and patches, and some other Windows patches that seem to not like nLite?
RickSteele Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 Go here;http://www.ryanvm.net/msfn/updatepack.htmlandhttp://www.msfn.org/board/index.php?showtopic=59614for something like: Microsoft .NET Framework All-in-One .zip Addon
tap52384 Posted September 11, 2006 Posted September 11, 2006 It seems that there are hotfixes and other updates that deviate from the norm and nLite has to compensate for those hotfixes. A lot of times, it just means that the next release might be the answer to your question, since nuhi takes into account the latest hotfixes, since security is of the utmost importance.

I've never had any success with nlite and msi ie: all the MSXML releases for example and etc. Also there is an omission of some sort in nlite's hotfix integration that makes MSupdate show one or two hotfixes as still required. Further, I've had problems with addon integration-RVM etc. and the shell tweaks do not work. RVM's update pack is the best root for me right now and nlite for the rest. But, then again, mileage varies.
