Since today afternoon, the default view for my CD drive has changed from icons to tiles. Changing it back to icons manually isn't working since it reverts back to tiles when the CD window is opened again. Is there a way to keep the default view for the drive to icons and make it stay that way ?

Open any folder, configure its view to what you prefer, then Tools -> Folder Options -> View

There is an Apply to All Folders button which applies the current view style to all the other folders when you open them. Click it, then try opening the CD files again.

How do I change it so the default view remains icons only for the CD Drive ? It used to be tiles for the HDD and icons for the CD Drive.
