WUD 2.23 Beta

Due to the number of changes in this release, including the changes in the update list formats, it is highly recommended that everyone update their versions to version 2.23.

Versions prior to 2.23 cannot open the current update lists. However, update lists created for prior versions of WUD are backwards compatible with the current version of WUD.

A lot of new features have been added to WUD.

Changes include:

• A complete revamp of the update list XML processor.
  
• New icons to indicate previously downloaded updates.
  
• New option to show/hide publish dates.
  
• New options to show/hide tooltips.
  
• Automatic checking of new program updates.
  
• Minor user interface fixes.
  
• Minor miscellaneous bug fixes.

• Proxy support.
  
• Estimated download times.
  
• Download throughput indicator.
  
• Digitally signed update lists.
  
• Automatic update list update checking.
  
• Option to shut down computer once downloads are complete.
  
• Command-line options for 3rd party integration.
  
• Localized user interface.
