Yeah just found out why my cd wasn't working and now i want to test it again but i don't wanna keep wasting cd's so can anyone explain to me how to do the virtual pc thing?

Download and install the software.

Create a new PC and follow the prompts.

Boot up the PC

In the CD menu, select "Capture Image"

Locate your .iso

and Bob's your sisters mothers cousins former roomate.

as for iso creation just follow the rules for usual cd creation, then (and this is for Nero) choose Image Recorder as you CD-R (Recorder->Choose Recorder), click Burn, and it will ask you where to store the file.

probably similar for other cd-burning software

Thanks guys!

Got the virtual PC/ISO image things under control but for some reason the batch.cmd file is still a txt file. I try doing save as changing to all files but it still saves as a text file.

Do I have to change the encoding drop down list thing?

do you see it as .txt?

or you dont see the extension at all?

in first case, just rename the file,

in second go to 'Windows Explorer -> Tools -> View' and uncheck 'Hide extensions for known file types'

now rename the file :)
