Well i have an old game called "War And Peace". Which seems to run on XP service pack 2, but one of the auto updates i got from Microsoft after Service pack 2 has stopped my game from running. When i try to open the game it will start and just go to black screen or just not start at all.

P.S. The makers of the game has shut down so their is no chance of them fixing it.

Did you try to reinstall the game? See if that works.

Many times and on about 5 different computer and it only works on my 2 computers which no longer have an internet connection, so they dont get auto updates for XP. And both of them are to slow to play it porperly.

Did you try updating your video card drivers? See if that works. If not, then sorry I'm out of ideas.

Like gamehead200 said.. Try telling it to run as Windows 2000..
