The Jeep Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Hi - well I guess I've already asked the question in the title! OK, if I have SP1 installed, can I then go straight to installing SP4 without first installing SP2 and/or SP3? Or do they have to be installed in sequence? Thanks
awilliamson Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 You can go straight to SP4 without the other service packs. SP4 is cumulative, containing updates from the previous versions.

tguy Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Don't forget the post-sp4 cumulative rollup too. You can launch it as well from cmdlines.txt etc. Works fine especially with SP4 files integrated into source. Will also shorten amount of time and number of hotfixes to apply after install.
