nuhi Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Uh, it's not simple with OEM software, they add all sorts of modifications in it, is your Windows CD from Dell or it's Retail? Also you didn't attach your preset, attach, don't copy paste.
shof515 Posted August 22, 2006 Author Posted August 22, 2006 (edited) Retail XP ProPreset that i madeComputer works fine with the nlite windows, it that i am just cant install my wireless drivers I know that OEM can be confusing, but there is something that is preventing the program from working, because when i can install my plain xp pro cd and it will install and work oklaptop.ini Edited August 22, 2006 by shof515
nuhi Posted August 22, 2006 Posted August 22, 2006 Ok then lets find out.For a first trial I would recommend this:Disable Services config page (much better in next version)In Tweaks don't use ANY of the Network Tweaks, they are probably the cause because you don't even read how dangerous they are. For some they may be ok and even more secure but generally they break things. Why did you add so much Network adapters and none of them isn't applied because you haven't entered the MAC adress.Use it with clean installation files, with sp2.For second trial do all from the first + don't integrate RVM pack, even though it's unlikely to be the cause. There, now I go to sleep, until tomorrow...
shof515 Posted August 22, 2006 Author Posted August 22, 2006 Dont work, same error. Guess i have to manually have to start enable and disabling features till i find the one that is causing the problem
nuhi Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Don't make me bump you.Try to keep these first:Application compatibility patchMessage Queuing (MSMQ)Internet ExplorerAnd disable the whole Tweaks page.
