Yoshi_77 Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Hello I am hosting a server of my own in the game Enemy Territory and recently I have been getting attacked by a hacker on a daily average. He comes on talking to people and starting stuff and then he shuts it down somehow. And also I have other hackers that just use hacks to help them selves in the game. Is there a way to track there IP or something like that so I can just ban their IP?
Aegis Posted August 18, 2006 Posted August 18, 2006 Haven't played that game myself, but is there a Web interface you can use? Most games do.
Yoshi_77 Posted August 18, 2006 Author Posted August 18, 2006 There is but it doesnt help much as I hoped.
ripken204 Posted August 19, 2006 Posted August 19, 2006 well in the game or thru an interface you should be able to see everyone's ip address...
tarquel Posted September 6, 2006 Posted September 6, 2006 Does it record a log at all? I'd have thought that a vital part of any online multiplayer setup.Maybe you could find that as if its easy to read, you could find the time and date of what happened perhaps.Nath.
