NT On-Line Scanner error

Featured Replies

this invariably pops up after booting up - how can we rid this annoyance?

do you have a scanner? If so, I'd suggest

A. Unplug it and plug it in only when needed.

B. Update the driver on the manufacturer's webpage.

If you dont have a scanner, I'd need more information about your computer, as in your OS, your system specs, etc...

also, any peripherials that you have installed, another thing that would be nice is a screen capture or photo of the incident. DO you get an error when you boot into windows or when you turn your PC on during the boot process?

have updated driver (X83) but it is more unconvenient to unplug scanner/fax/copier which gives off major errors, than to simply hit return in most bootups (in windows) to kill error message

....diasable POST in BIOS, it might stop the error, if the error is all that you care to remove.

will try..what is most efficient way to do this?

Im assuming that ur trying to disable the error reporting at startup

if so u can do this by going:

control panel/systems/advanced/...error reporting

then simlply select what u want to disable...all errors etc

Ok.... like, this isnt a BUG in XP.........a bug is something that has been confirmed to be a promblem with several peoples computers. This would just simply be a promblem your having. Moving thread. Next time think before you post...Thanks
