Drago22
Is it in any way possible to add Server 2003 R2?On my 2003 multiboot dvd all the 2003 SP1 versions (en/de, volumelicense/oem) work fine.I tried adding R2, by applying the hack method from server 2003 sp1 to setupldr.bin, with no success. it always gives an error.(i believe it was the "couldnt find netldr" error).appreciate any help

chon_
Francesco is correct, Windows Server 2003 R2 is just a normal Windows Server 2003 SP1 plus a 2nd disc containing the R2 features. just copy the CMPNENTS folder of your windows server Disc 2 to the root of your Windows Server distribution folder, then, in runonceex.cmd call%CDROM%\YourDistributionFoldeHere\CMPNENTS\R2\setup2.exeThis will install R2 features to your existing Win2003 installation. ahusking
Actually, there is a much easier way (so to speak)if you copy the R2 CD onto the same CD\DVD as server 2003 then put the R2 cdkey in instead of the Server 2003 key, (either manually or in winnt.sif) then once windows boots it auto installs. We are in the process of doing this now with work and that is how we are doing it
pber
I've tried this with limited success.Copied the CMPNENTS folder structure from disk 2 to the same level as the 386 on my Multiboot DVD and changed the product code as suggested, but it asks for the second CD. I have to manually repoint it to the location.Any other settings that need to be done, or does this not work with multiboot?
