ccomley Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 1) Does Nlite support SBS2003? It isn't explicitly mentioned on the flash "supported..." list. 2) When I coem to Slipstream service packs, SP1 is the latest for SBS2003 itself, but there are also packs for Exchange Server, etc. Do I need to implement these, (and if so how)? Main reason for Nlite is to maeke an Install CD I can use to move the current install of SBS to a new machine. Most patches, therefore, will come across with the system backup, but once the backup is restored to teh new machine and I do e "repair install" of SVS2003 to "fix" hardware related problems caused by restoring "wrong" drivers, will my ES2003 and other patches be in place? I need to squeeze the image size down a little - what obvious "big" items can I omit from teh CD (and re-install later if nicessary) to keep the ISO size small enough for a CD?
nuhi Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I would gladly support all possible version if I had access to them but those business or whatever versions are not available to me.
ccomley Posted August 12, 2006 Author Posted August 12, 2006 You can get SBS2003 in Microsoft's "Action Pack" which is available to developers. It's a widely used platform in smaller businesses...
ZcWorld Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 but the main problem i guess nuhi is hinint out testing the SBS to make sure its all work well if the Nlite changesbefore releasing it to the publice
nuhi Posted August 12, 2006 Posted August 12, 2006 ccomley, you mean this:'The Microsoft Action Pack Subscription - All for just US$349'So I should pay because you want it supported...oh oh ok let me get my Visa Sarcastic 2000
