Okay so for some strange reason I was being a complete moron and I some how deleted my wordpad completely of my computer. I was wondering if there is any way to download it from somwhere. thanks. I'm an id*** i know but, your help will be much appreciated. Thanks.

If you are running XP check here.

Open explorer and find this.

C:\Program Files\Windows NT\Accessories\wordpad.exe

Once, you have found this right click and select copy.

Now you can paste that as a shortcut anywhere you want.

well i copied it and pasted it in the "run" thing a popup comes up and says it cannot find this file.

Type Write in the run box that will open Wordpad

The location of this file is

%SystemDrive%\WINDOWS\system32\write.exe

If you really deleted the file (wordpad.exe or write.exe, whichever it is), it can be copied from the XP CD (WORDPAD.EX_ or WRITE.EX_) or I386 folder if it exists.
